I have a judgment against me by Palisade Collection LLC, and they were represented by Mann Bracken who is now defunct. I want to pay this off today but don't know who or where to send the money or if I still have to send them anything. Any insight would be helpful.

I have received a HELOC settlement letter from Citifinancial. It states the following, Citifinancial Mortgage has authorized NCO Financial Systems Inc. To collect on their behalf the balance of 175,000 by remitting $17,500 in certified funds by 3/18/10 to avoid additional collection action, your account will be considered satisifed and if applicable all liens and or judgements will be satisified and released. Can you plz. advice if the above will get rid of my HELOC once i have paid...

What to do |
115,000 in unsecured debt plus a mortgage, I don't think we would qualify for chapter 7 due to income. we are behind on several credit cards. We both work full time. However my husband is furloughed. I'm open to suggestions. I do want to be debt free. Thank you
